
President - Janika Bockmeyer
The President is the face of the United Nations Student Association. They set out UNSA's vision and goals for the academic year, and is ultimately responsible for its decisions. At all times, they have a clear overview of UNSA's activities and strategies. Furthermore during EuroMUN, the President is also the Secretary General, meaning that they are ultimately responsible for the success of the conference. To guarantee this they work in close cooperation with the EuroMUN Conference Manager. In conclusion, the President is the final decision maker and ensures that the Board works effectively.

External Relations - Sarat Reddy
The head of External Relations is in charge of establishing and maintaining UNSA’s relations with the university, companies, other associations and third party individuals. They work together with the Finance department, the EuroMUN Conference Manager and the Events Committee on several levels in order to ensure the best possible arrangements for UNSA with external parties. They are the official contact person for any non-member related issues and together with the President the representative heads of the Association.
Finance - Jan Berssenbruegge
The head of Finance is in charge of the allocation of the UNSA funds and therefore works in close cooperation with all the committees. Furthermore, they oversee the Finance Committee which is in charge of fundraising for UNSA. In addition, they ensure that UNSA maintains a healthy balance sheet and that all undertakings by UNSA are financially feasible.
Public Relations - Frederike Engeland
Public Relations is the voice of the members within the Board. All types of general UNSA questions, suggestions and concerns are addressed to them. Furthermore, they are responsible for the newsletter as well as keeping the public informed about UNSA's activities via all types of (social) media. Together with the Events Committee, they organise social gatherings for all members of UNSA such as drinks, information evenings and lectures. Internal Relations - Raoul Bessems
Internal Relations fulfils the internal functions which include making sure that the Board is functioning effectively. They also streamline communication and the organisation of events. They ensure that deadlines are set & met and that everyone is fulfilling their tasks and keeping the Board up to date. Furthermore they are the Board secretary, by setting the agenda and taking minutes at the meetings. Last but not least, they are in charge of UNSA's administration.
MUN - Arjan Vlaskamp
The Head of the MUN Committee is responsible for coordinating the planning, staging and execution of the European Model United Nations (EuroMUN), as this has become a focal point in the academic calendar in Maastricht since 2008. In 2011 over 550 students participated in EuroMUN, making it the second biggest MUN conference in Europe. In order to realize this project the Conference Manager works with a team collectively called the Steering Committee. Project - Davina Krumbholz
The UNSA Project Committee was founded in order to address the humanitarian & developmental aspect of the United Nations’ activities. It establishes contacts to local NGOs in developing countries to support them by organizing fund raising activities and by sending students abroad during the summer break in order to conduct volunteer work. The Head of the Project Committee ensures smooth cooperation between the three sub-committees (The Networking Team, the Fundraising & Charity Team and the Preparation Team). Events - Philipp Ständer
The Events Committee organizes UNSA's social events, such as the Masquerade Ball, the annual UNSA Birthday Party or the weekly drinks. Furthermore the Events Committee also organizes academic events such as lectures, panel debates, excursions, the new debating club Rhetorica or film series. The Head of the Events Committee is responsible for distributing tasks and to ensure that the different projects are successfully concluded. Delegation - Juliane Gröper
The Head of the Delegations Committee coordinates the delegations that are send to Model United Nations conferences throughout the world and makes sure the participating students are trained to perform successfully at these conferences. The Head of the Delegations Committee is also responsible for the Permanent Delegation (established in 2010). The Permanent Delegation consists of ± 20 motivated students which are trained to become the best delegates they can be at Model United Nations conferences through lectures and workshops on a regular basis. Journal - Alisa Fluhrer
The Head of the Journal Committee is the editor in chief of “The Diplomat”. “The Diplomat” is a journal focused on international affairs, political, social and cultural issues. It also holds in-depth interviews, reports on MUNs and generally provides a platform for information about UNSA. To fulfil its role as an information platform, the Journal Committee is closely linked to other UNSA Committees such as Project, Events or Delegations. Marketing - Henning Hatje
The Head of the Marketing Committee is in charge of communicating goals, values and core principals through a coherent and effective marketing strategy. They achieve branding and name recognition of UNSA and its various aspects by constructing recognizable and consistent logos, posters, flyers and e-advertisement. The Committee is always looking for creative people that bring together expertise from a wide range of areas in order to ensure that any new material is innovative and effective.
